Last year we had a great time and beautiful weather!

This event was so much fun last year we’re returning again this year with a trailer full of boats for folks to test paddle (including both versions of the Murrelet, the Pinguino 145, Pinguino 145 4PD, Borealis, Coho, Arctic Tern 14 & an Arctic Tern 17).  The event is free and open to the public but demoing does require a $5/person fee. We met Bharat Nagin (shown above in his completed boat) at the Northwest Paddling Fest last year where he paddled his first Pygmy. One week later he was buying a Murrelet 4PD.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the team at Pygmy Boats for a beautiful functional kayak I made in 2012. It took me about 2 months to build the Murrelet 4PD (when I found time from my full time job).I had a great time building the kayak with my family participating when time permitted. The instruction manual supplied with the kit was easy to follow. I am extremely happy with the result. The kayak is enjoyed by my entire family. Its fun Paddling and receiving compliments each time I take it out to paddle.Thank you for your amazing support and cooperation throughout the process. It was a pleasure dealing with your entire team.”Thank you,
Bharat Nagin

It’s meeting customers that makes these events so much fun and we’re looking forward to it!
